Our Freedom to Know the Truth ~ Is It Still Out There?

Never forget – John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King both lost their lives for their belief in freedom of the press, and for their fearless declaration that there is a dark enemy within the United States.

Did Martin Luther King, Jr. speak a prophetic warning over the United States?  King was a man of prayer, and men of prayer receive eyes to see and ears to hear things that the average person is not given.  Did King see into the future of our nation?  Did God give him insight that only now is common knowledge?

Don’t let anyone make you think that God chose America as his divine messianic force to be a sorta policemen of the whole world.  God has a way of standing before the nations with judgment and it seems that I can hear God saying to America, “You are too arrogant.  If you don’t change your ways, I will rise up and break the backbone of your power, and I’ll place it in the hands of a nation that don’t even know my name.  Be still and know that I am God.”       Martin Luther King, Jr.

Kennedy himself said that he was often in church – he related his comments to the public press by stating:

If in the last few months your White House reporters and photographers have been attending church services with regularity, that has surely done them no harm.   John F. Kennedy

When will godly men and women in this nation step forward, talk about salvation, and share their faith instead of expecting their pastors to ‘evangelize’ their cities and states alone?  We must answer the call to share the good news.  We are even equipped at our baptism to share the Good News.  Yes that is right, with our baptism we become Prophet, Priest, and King.

At baptism, we were marked with oil as a sign that we are now part of God’s holy nation.  The anointing also was a sign that we are part of Christ and share in his threefold mission as prophet, priest, and king.

YouTube has removed the following clip several times.  Moreover, no reasons are given.  It contains speeches from John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King regarding censorship.  Are we indeed hearing The Truth-The Whole Truth-and Nothing but the Truth from our news media?  You decide.  But watch and listen a.s.a.p. – who knows how long it will stay online.
